I Oh my god. I could construct better meals for like 5$ at worst. A good salad is piss cheap. Bread takes a few minutes to make and you can make dozens of loafs. This looks like they just grabbed some random drug addict off the street and give him random ingredients and say ‘make something edible.’

I stayed in a women’s shelter for a week and the food they feed us I thought was going to come alive and eat me. I ended leaving there because after the week they said they couldn’t take me because I don’t have kids. They also made a fuss when I said I was getting a job but that it had to be within the hours of 7-2, the hours of freedom we got. Wake up at 5:30, eat, gather our things to be on the street for 7 hours. Luckily I had my car
